Our "Home Swiss Home" service How does it work?
An important part of our assessment is to view your new property, discuss your requirements and budget, make initial suggestions and assess the degree of involvement you need from us. This initial consultation takes place in your home. This is your opportunity to show us your new home, present us with your ideas and ask us any questions you have about how we work. The consultation generally lasts about 90 minutes, and we will also show you our portfolio and generally get a better feel for the area you want to decorate. We will then work with you to help turn your dream home into reality in the style of your choice, from classic Alpine to contemporary Scandinavian. At the same time, we will advise you on all the practical needs a ski chalet has - from heating a boot-room to arranging snow ploughs.
We live in the middle of the 4-vallees area, so we know exactly where we can find the best furniture, the best shops and the best craftsmen. Once we have agreed what you need, the style you're looking for and your budget, then no more worries, we will do the work and take the pressure off you.
If needed, we can work on your behalf to see the project through from start to finish. We will appoint suppliers and dealers, negotiate trade discounts, control ordering and delivery of all furniture, and oversee all fitting-out. We do not receive any commission from the tradesmen involved. (Please note that not all interior designers operate this way!) We pride ourselves on achieving the best possible service and value for our clients.
Unlike other interior design services, our Home Swiss Home service goes that little bit extra: we will buy for you all the little things you need in a home: from matches to light the fire, detergent for your wash machine, cutlery for the kitchen, to the snow shovel needed to keep your front door clear. And, of course, your refrigerator will be full when you arrive for the first time in your chalet!
We will even open a bank account for you at a local Swiss bank where you can transfer the money to pay the suppliers. All the invoices, specifications and delivery notes will be yours and instantly available so that you can check anything, whenever you want.
For our Home Swiss Home bespoke service we charge one affordable, pre-agreed fixed fee. We don't bill by the hour, or by the size of your chalet, or by the number of rooms.
